Northern Ireland Road Safety Awards 2025
Celebrating Northern Ireland’s Road Safety Champions
The eleventh annual Northern Ireland Road Safety Awards took place on Friday 21 November 2025 in the beautiful grounds of Belfast Castle, where outstanding individuals and organisations were honoured for their exceptional contributions to road safety across Northern Ireland.
Organised by Road Safe NI Charity in partnership with CRASH Services, Northern Ireland’s leading accident management company, the awards recognise the dedication, innovation and commitment of those working tirelessly to save lives and reduce collisions on our roads.
More than 100 invited guests attended the ceremony, where 12 awards were presented across a wide range of sectors, including education, emergency services, voluntary and community organisations, business and the public sector.
The event’s top honour, the Lifetime Achievement Award, was presented to Lynda Hurley by Minister for Infrastructure, Liz Kimmins MLA, acknowledging Lynda’s remarkable long-term contribution to improving road safety across Northern Ireland. Minister Kimmins said: “I would like to congratulate Linda on receiving this prestigious lifetime achievement award, which is greatly deserved. “Linda’s dedication and commitment to improving road safety has shone through in the work she has done. “I would like to personally thank Linda for helping to deliver our road safety objectives on behalf of the Department.”
