Road Safety Mascot Competition Winners Announced
Thank you so much to the over 100 boys and girls who took part in Road Safe NI’s ‘Design a Road Safety Mascot’ Competition in May 2020.
The standard of entries was absolutely fantastic, and we were so impressed, making it very difficult for us as judges to choose!
We want to thank every child who participated; you were all fantastic. Unfortunately, we could only choose three top entries.
WINNERS
We would like to congratulate the following children for winning the competition in 3rd, 2nd, and 1st place:
- 3rd Place – Matthew McKenna with Mascot ‘Stripe the Zebra’ from St. Joseph’s Primary School, Carryduff
- 2nd Place – Faith Lundy with Mascot ‘Harriet Hippo’ from St. Mary’s Primary School, Saintfield
- 1st Place – Uriel Betache Buban with Mascot ‘Rory the Traffic Warden’ from St. Brigid’s Primary School, Glassdrummond
